Ichendorf

Founded in early-twentieth-century Cologne and relocated to Milan in 1990, Ichendorf has spent a century refining a singular craft: hand-lampworked and mouthblown glass, shaped one piece at a time by Italian artisans. The collections we carry — Botanica, Animal Farm, Fruits and Flowers, Decò — trade in a distinctly Milanese sensibility, pairing rigorous glasswork with a quiet sense of humor. A hand-set flower on a wine glass stem, a glass turtle resting at the bottom of a pitcher, a cherry finial atop a cake dome — each detail is formed and applied by hand after the piece itself is finished, so no two are ever quite identical.

Design collaborators including Alessandra Baldereschi, Denis Guidone, and Marco Sironi bring their own perspective to the line, but the material stays constant: borosilicate and crystal glass, worked the same way it has been since Ichendorf's founding.
