Orrefors Ebon Vase Black Medium

Ebon is architecture firm Claesson Koivisto Rune's first collaboration with Orrefors — a mouth-blown vase that begins from a basic template but is finished individually by the glassblower, making each piece subtly one of a kind. Its opaque black surface behaves like a mirror, reflecting whatever surrounds it — highly reflective in some light, nearly a void in others.

Materials: Mouth-blown black glass.

Care: Hand wash or wipe with a cloth. Ebon's sculptural, mouth-blown form and mirror-black finish make it feel more like a piece of art than a vessel — a striking anchor for a console or shelf whether or not it holds flowers.
